It only shows your belly midway if you raise your arms, otherwise it's a bit more modest than most belly dancing dresses. You jingle with every step you take. I received alot of compliments.

It is excellent quality for the price. Everything was included as listed. So cute. We purchased a nude colored danskin leotard for underneath so she can wear it to school without her stomach ,technically, showing for Halloween day. All in all I would recommend this without hesitation. Make sure you look at the sizing. I think it runs small. WE ordered up and it fits great.
