フィット感:ちょうどいいサイズThe entire gown has the look/feel of a 1920s ,Downtown Abbey, sort of elegance. Since I noted that one reviewer complained the jacket was not well made, I checked every seam and they all seem perfectly done. The iridescent beads and are glued, not sewn, on, but appear firmly attached. I am 5'4,, and on me, the dress runs just above ankle length; also, the sleeves in the picture appear 3/4 length; on me, they came exactly to wrist length. I did NOT order one size smaller, and I am glad I didn't. I prefer a loose fit, and usually take a 16W in my clothes, but using the company's sizing chart, ordered an 18W on the premise that it was better to need a few alterations than to get a dress that was too small. I find that only the jacket will need a slight alteration to raise the side darts, unless I miraculously lose 20 lbs. before the wedding! I took it to a family party yesterday to poll all my female relatives on whether this was the gown I should keep (of the two I ordered) for the wedding, and received a resounding ,YES!,, ,TWO THUMBS UP!,. Unless the other gown arrives this week looking twice as beautiful as this one, this is the one I'll be wearing to my daughter's wedding in October. Additonal Note: I wore it to my daughter's wedding on October 7, and received endless compliments on the dress: classy, gorgeous, lovely, etc. After handwashing, the color (eggplant/dark purple) remains vibrant and the beads are still perfectly attached. Could not have been happier with the gown!2018/9/8
